Beware of Uncle Wolf!
Art workshop tie-in with the Travelling with Figures in the Fairy Tales of Italo Calvino
20 October 2012 - 20 January 2013
Up and down the length and breadth of Italy, the fairy tale journeys from mouth to mouth, changing, shedding its characters, places and details and gaining new ones, but without ever losing the meaning of the tale; pancakes turn into cupcakes, wolves turn into killer whales, or a little girl can turn into three sisters, on a exploratory journey devoted to inventing any number of new "Little Red Riding Hoods" using the language of illustration.
