Climate, global changes and biodiversity

9 january 2025 ore 18:30
An encounter with Carlo Rondinini, Sapienza Università di Roma, National Biodiversity Future Center, and Laura Sadori, Sapienza Università di Roma; National Biodiversity Future Center

How can we understand and address the challenges associated with the evolution of the world’s climate? Scientists are working on two fronts: on the one hand, they explore change in the past, while on the other they identify potential future scenarios using advanced models combining the old with the new. Paleobotanist Laura Sadori and nature conservation expert Carlo Rondinini tell us how it is possible to reconcile these two worlds, and what we can do to influence the future of biodiversity.
