A broad historical panorama which explores, through the works of 27 international artists, the roots of the relationship between art, the media and technology, from the pioneering experimentation of the 1960s to the new frontiers of the "digital revolution".
The works on display included works by masters of the avant-garde such as Nam June Paik, Arman, Jean Tinguely and leading representatives of the 1970s and 1980s such as Jenny Holzer, Gary Hill, Piero Gilardi, Antoni Muntadas, Charlotte Moormann, Wolf Vostell, Bertrand Lavier, and Franco Vaccari. Works by younger artists included Tony Oursler, Pipilotti Rist, Grazia Toderi, Eva Marisaldi, Doug Aitken, Kiki Seror, Marko Pelijhan, Bianco e Valente, and Botto & Bruno.
