Over seventy colour photographs, taken by great contemporary photographers from 1980 to 2002 and collected by important photojournalism agencies (Associated Press, Contact, Gamma, Grazia Neri, Sygma, and Magnum), told the story of the Afghan people, through faces, the landscape, and through images of the long, harrowing war that has been tearing the country apart.
