A distinguished American in a Latin-American country tells his story to an audience whose anger and tension increase with his every word. Despite the risk to himself and to his family, former CIA agent John Perkins has decided to confess his part in a secret network that has been working for years to bring Latin America to its knees, using financial maneuvers, privatizations, crime and coups d'états to bind it to the US hand and foot.
