Traditional journalism is in a critical condition: in the era of the Internet, dailies are in danger of becoming extinct while blogs tend to host opinions rather than facts. Reporter tells the story of the invaluable work of an old-style journalist called Nicholas Kristof, a reporter with the New York Times and winner of the Pulitzer Prize on two separate occasions. It was he who first drew the world's attention to the crisis in Darfur, while the challenge facing him today consists in finding a way to recount the catastrophic political and humanitarian situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
