What are the books that no children's library can afford to do without? How do you furnish, decorate, organise and run a school library? An expert explains how to set up a library in class and at school.

 

A designer and cultural operator, Gisella is an authority on the world of publishing and art for children and teenagers. She joined with Carla Ghisalberti in 1997 to found the Mi leggi ti leggo cultural association. She is a member of the Register of Cultural Associations and Individuals working in the cultural sphere for the Istituzione Sistema Biblioteche Centri Culturali del Comune di Roma, and has worked as a lecturer and research scholar in the context of refresher courses entitled Leggere che piacere and Leggendo s’impara… un polo per la lettura.

She works with schools, libraries and bookshops to communicate her passion for reading, art and creativity. She has helped to set up school libraries for kindergartens and primary schools. She has been producing cultural projects, training courses, festivals, exhibitions and events for many years.
