NICULIN BARANDUN...
NICULIN BARANDUN + LUIS SANZ | Transmission~
19 september 2019
live cinema performance
Transmission~
is a collaborative project by Niculin Barandun and Luis Sanz resulting in a series of experiments with raw electronic signals.
The work includes extreme high-low frequencies, microwaves, resonances, and electronic failures.
Signal modulated pixels expand the perception creating an audiovisual unison that induces visceral reactions in the audience.
Niculin Brandunis
is a Swiss artist born 1987, based in Basel, Switzerland. Using self-developed software-instruments, Niculin Barandun creates processes at the intersection of art, science, technology and design.
Luis Sanz
is a Peruvian musician and installation artist based in Switzerland. Sanz’s works combine vocal techniques, prepared turntables, prepared guitar, audio visual instruments, feedback systems, free improvisation, custom software, otoacoustic phenomena and signal amplification.
