Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife. Roman is impotent and his beautiful wife Hanka, though she loves him dearly, ends up betraying him with other men. Roman refuses to accept the situation and starts spying on his wife, turning from victim into persecutor, until a terrible misunderstanding pushes him into attempting to commit suicide.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's goods. Jerzy and Artur, two brothers whom age and life choices have separated, meet again after their father dies suddenly, leaving them a valuable stamp collection in his will. In their attempt to increase its value, the two brothers end up in the hands of a gang of crooks and fraudsters.
