Renato Nicolini, professor of architecture at the University of Calabria, will be taking us on a tour of Berlin and Paris, two cities that were held up as paradigms of urban and architectural development in the Europe of the day. The urban bourgeoisie, by then an accepted collective identity, reflected its outlook on life in the new shape of the city as it evolved at breakneck pace.
