Daniela Lancioni, curator of the exhibition, will talk about Mediterraneo by Mimmo Jodice

A journey undertaken from the mid-eighties on into the culture of ancient Greece, its peaks and the spread of its influence; a journey through different times and places, confirming the self-reflective nature of Jodice's work as, in Mediterraneo, he travels back to explore his own cultural roots. The artist also used these photographs to experiment freely during the printing phase, confirming the crucial role played by the work done in the darkroom.
