Political cartoons, posters and more went into this retrospective of Pino Zac (Giuseppe Zaccaria, 1930-1985): a satirical poet and plain-spoken observer of Italian and European politics. On show were his drawings against any and all forms of power: against the church in the radical series "Sex and the Church," against the carabinieri, politicians, bankers and magistrates; as well as his political cartoons for the Parisian satirical weekly Le Canard Enchainé; his drawings for the magazine Playtime founded with other artists in London; and his sketches of the many cities he visited in Europe and America.

Exhibition curated by Edoardo Caroccia.
Mounted by Valter Zarroli.
Catalogue with essays by Dario Fo, Luca Raffaelli, Le Canard Enchainé, Philippe Toussaint, and Pietro Acquafredda. Published by GTE, L'Aquila 2001.
