USA, 1933, 66 min., DCP original version with Italian subtitles
directed by Lowell Sherman, starring Mae West and Cary Grant
Mae West brings to the screen the character that had made her famous on the American stage: Diamond Lil, an ironic rebel with a shamelessly erotic charge, and a skilled manipulator of men. The film was a huge hit at the time and had the merit of launching a very young Cary Grant.
