Jardin for Palazzo delle Esposizioni is a site-specific performance based on Le Jardin, a choreographic work that is "tailored" to fit the urban space hosting the performance on each occasion, as a symbolic venue for communicating among individuals currently living in an increasingly virtual space. Gardens are ideal places, symbols of pleasure and of delight, they forge a link between man and nature that culminates in a nostalgic echo reminiscent of the Garden of Eden. In Le Jardin two figures wander in an imaginary landscape that is constantly transformed by their gestures: they explore and shape the environment, embarking on a trial of strength between themselves and their surroundings.

Ginevra Panzetti and Enrico Ticconi, who divide their time between Berlin and Turin, have been working together as an artistic due since 2008. They pursue their research in the context of dance, performance and the visual arts. They moved to Germany in 2010 and began to explore individual yet mutually complementary pathways: Enrico studies dance and choreography at Berlin's Inter-University Centre for Dance (HZT) while Ginevra studies media art at Leipzig's Fine Arts Academy, the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst (HGB). In parallel with their projects, Enrico works as a dancer for various different choreographers including Kat Vàlastur, Dewey Dell, Lea Moro and Adam Linder, while Ginevra pursues her studies as a designer in the sphere of contemporary jewellery and she designs the Tegumenti line of jewels.
