Il grido (The Outcry) - Cinema

14 may 2016
admission free

directed by Michelangelo Antonioni.  Italy, 1957, 115 min.

The anatomy of contemporary malaise that singles Antonioni out amongst the masters of world film-making achieves one of its loftiest peaks in this film.  Forsaking the parlours of the bourgeoisie, Antonioni focuses here on the working-class environment which turns out to be mined by the same desolate and powerless void.

We inform the audience that the projection of the movie, originally scheduled on Friday 13 May at 9.00pm, is postponed to Saturday 14 May at 6.00pm.
