Humans have become the slaves of humongous aliens in this extraordinarily evocative animated movie.  The film is a masterpiece of figurative fantasy thanks to the astonishing drawings of Roland Topor, a major surrealist painter and writer, and founder of the celebrated Panique group together with Arrabal and Jodorowski.  The movie won an award at the Cannes Film Festival.
