directed by Barbara Leibovitz. USA, 2006, 80 min., Italian version
Annie Leibovitz has used her boundless visual talent to photograph generations of artists and politicians, in fact her pictures are held to be among the most memorable of the past thirty years. This documentary reviews her career from her first photographs taken during the Vietnam War to her ten-year cooperation with Rolling Stone, whose unmistakable style she helped to create. Her cover with a naked John Lennon embracing a fully clothed Yoko Ono made photographic history.
