On the occasion of the exhibition I nostri Anni '70. Libri per Ragazzi in Italia, new dates organised by the Art Workshop: meetings and workshops for teachers, students, sector operators and enthusiasts.
Meetings with players from the publishing world face to face, curated by Paola Vassalli, and workshops on techniques, materials and languages to tell the stories of publishing houses, authors and artists who have revolutionised the children's book.

Graphics
meeting with Fausta Orecchio and Chiara Rapaccini - admission free from 11.30 to 13.00
workshop - booking only, from 14.30 to 16.30
Graphics as an across-the-board language that creates bonds between the story told in words and the one narrated in pictures. The 70s have left a legacy of innovative and original suggestions. The illustrated album puts text and image into a new relationship.

Publishing
meeting with Gabriella Armando and Gina Bellot - admission free from 11.30 to 13.00
workshop - booking only, from 14.30 to 16.30
Rome and the Nuove Edizioni Romane, still a women's publishing project. The women of Italian publishing at the service of young readers create books for a new kind of kid, books that over the years have not lost their power to communicate and fascinate.

Education
meeting with Silvana Sola and Paola Vassalli - admission free from 11.30 to 13.00
Towards a new pedagogy marked by the Movement for Educational Cooperation, by teachers such as Maria Luisa Bigiaretti and Mario Lodi and by intellectuals of genius and generosity like Gianni Rodari and Antonio Faeti. The meeting will be followed by a visit to the exhibition under the guidance of the curators.

Illustration
meeting with Paola Vassalli and Ferruccio Giromini - admission free from 11.30 to 13.00
workshop - booking only, from 14.30 to 16.30
Authors, illustrators, photographers, leading figures on the art scene of those years, contributed to the renewal of the children's book. A journey through the pages of artists such as Iela Mari, Leo Lionni and Maurice Sendak, reinventing the way of reading, thinking and growing with books.

Poetry
meeting with Teresa Buongiorno and Rosaria Punzi - admission free from 11.30 to 13.00
workshop - booking only, from 14.30 to 16.30
Three great authors gave voice to writing in verse: Gianni Rodari, Toti Scialoja and Mario Faustinelli. All of them with a shared love of poetry and its expressive power.
