directed by Maia Kenworthy and Elena Sánchez Bellot, United Kingdom, 2021, 82 min., original version with Italian subtitles

The story of a group of people who came together to demand an increasingly urgent change: starting with the launch of the Extinction Rebellion movement in 2018, we track the people at the heart of the movement as they face the ups and downs of the clash both with the status quo and internally within their own organisation. Unlikely bedfellows stretching from an international woman lawyer who is an expert in climate-related issues to a combative organic crop farmer, they strive to work together. Some are simply interested in fomenting trouble and in getting arrested while others, the youngest amongst them, see the struggle for the climate as an opportunity to rethink mutual relations and our relationship with the natural world. This fascinating film addresses the human and personal cost of social change.
