The professional figure of the printer from analogue to inkjet printing, from design to post-production and from cooperation with photographers to the transformation of a photograph into a tangible artwork on paper.

Davide Di Gianni is an expert in photographic printing who began his career in 1989 by working in Franco Bugionovi's photographic workshop. He opened his own workshop strictly in black and white in 2000, adding digital to his schedule in 2007 with a special focus on colour and black-and-white printing. He works with museums, galleries, photographers and artists. He has worked particularly intensely with Paolo Pellegrin, for whom he has handled the printing at his most important exhibitions all over the world.
