In the summer heat of an empty Rome, a thirty-year-old woman spends her days alternating her roles as a student and a teacher. The ideal stage for her alienated existence is the EUR neighbourhood, which the director interprets with an eye firmly trained on De Chirico's Metaphysical painting and on the cinema of the 1960s.
