Ballin Mundson saves Johnny's life, and out of gratitude he agrees to work in Mundson's gambling den, only to discover that his boss is married to Gilda, Johnny's old flame, a flame that will eventually spark again... One of the most famous noir triangles in film history for a film that over time has earned a well-deserved cult status, also thanks to Rita Hayworth's wild beauty in the role that finally established her as a major star.
